Company Overview
Ronn Motor Company, Inc. is a design and manufacturing company focused on leading edge design, environmentally friendly, finely built premium automobiles, balancing stunning looks and performance with eco-responsible alternative power systems. These systems include Hydrogen Fuel, Fuel cells, and Plug in-electrics. These features, coupled with RMC’s core values of a strong sense of ethics, environmental sensitivity and premium quality for discriminating tastes, and unsurpassed customer service, will place us among the leaders of an automotive industry in transition toward fuel efficiency.
Ronn Maxwell first met Adrian Pylypec in Johnson City, Texas, at the Silver K Café to discuss the possibility of building an American exotic sports car in August, 2007. For the next 3 months, they created a business plan and laid a foundation for their fledgling company. In November 2007, Ronn registered and created the first entity, Ronn Performance Engineering, in order to raise private funds and begin the prototyping process.
During the design process, Ronn decided
that the company's first car, the Scorpion, needed to
be more than an exotic performance car- it needed hydrogen.
With the current emphasis on fuel efficiency and carbon
emissions, using hydrogen injection was a strategic decision
that would give the Scorpion a special place in the automotive
industry.
Campus
Ronn Motor Company has
hired nationally acclaimed architect, Marley Porter of
Living Architecture to design the new assembly plant.
Marley is known for his innovative design and focus on
energy efficiency/environmental impact.
The campus will feature
a 10,000 square foot showroom and executive offices designed
to enhance the buying experience and showcase the amazing
Scorpion.
The assembly plant will occupy 40,000 square feet of unobstructed space and be outfitted with state of the art equipment. There will be ample space for fabrication, mechanical assembly, body assembly, parts, testing, receiving and every other function necessary for operations.
The location of the new facility has not been disclosed to the public at this time. Geographically, the campus will be located in the Texas Hill Country, not far from the intersection of Hwy 71 and Hwy 281.

Ronn has the operational and interpersonal skills required to manage the complex tasks that transform dreams into reality.
In 2007, Ronn was engaged to by an American firm to explore and develop a joint venture with a Chinese company, Zhonda International. The third largest bus manufacturer in China. As director of Engineering and Manufacturing, Ron developed building processes and quality control procedures that would be integral to the operation, as Zhonda increased its global presence in preparation for importation of its buses into the United States. While in China Ronn birthed the concept and design for the "Scorpion", now Ronn Motor Company's first automobile.
In 2005, using his patented air conditioning
technology that was launched into the automotive market
in 1994, Ronn designed and built a complete replacement
air conditioning system for Porsche 911's. He formed the
company Rennaire LLC, to market these components and systems.
Sales are expected to double again this year and are now
the standard for Porsche A/C systems. www.rennaire.com

Engines from this shop have been shipped worldwide and powering some of the fastest cars in their class nationally. Crate engines as well as custom customer specific engines are built and sold directly, through the Internet and magazine ads www.diamondbackengines.com. Damon has not only fabricated his own record setting race cars, but has owned and operated his own race car fabrication facility in Dallas, Texas.
His last manufacturing position was
COO in 2003-2005 at Phillips Industries, in Dallas, Texas.
Phillips is the world,s largest manufacturer of OEM wiring
harnesses for the commercial trucking industry. While
there, Damon restructured their manufacturing processes
that produced 12 months of record setting sales.
Damon has held the title of COO at two other companies and has gained a reputation as a turnaround specialist in the manufacturing industry. Additionally, his knowledge of automotive engineering has made him an expert in engine design, suspension and computer electronics. Ronn Motor Company is fortunate to have someone with his experience in operations management and passion for automobiles.
Adrian Pylypec: VP of Sales and Marketing

Hydrogen Fuel Injection
Produces hydrogen during vehicle operation through electrolysis of water using the power generated from the vehicles electrical system. A small amount of hydrogen added to the vehicles intake air/fuel mixture allows the engine to operate with less fossil fuel. Ronn Motor Company will use this technology in its revolutionary Scorpion to achieve lower emissions and vastly improved fuel economy.
There are two main kinds of Hydrogen Hybrid automobile. These are fuel cell vehicles and Hydrogen internal combustion engines, (HICE) like our first automobile "The Scorpion". Fuel cell vehicles are electric cars. Hydrogen is pumped into a tank in the car, just as gasoline. The hydrogen gas is then fed into the fuel cell where it is electrochemically converted into electricity--with no combustion, no moving parts and no emissions other than water vapor. The electricity is used to power the vehicle.
Hydrogen ICE vehicles use a regular combustion engine modified to use gaseous hydrogen instead of liquid gasoline (much like a natural gas vehicle is modified). They burn hydrogen or a combination of gasoline and hydrogen, but since there is no carbon in hydrogen, there are no or almost no CO2 emissions and only trace amounts of NOx (oxides of nitrogen). Hydrogen ICE vehicles are typically about 30-50% more efficient than comparable gasoline vehicles.
